Students utilize Pattern Shapes to delve into geometry and fractions, engaging in the creation of their own designs or the completion of provided outlines. Through interaction with these shapes, students investigate geometric relationships, ponder angles, explore symmetry, and assemble/disassemble larger shapes. Many of these exploratory activities naturally prompt considerations of fractions as integral parts of a whole.

This digital adaptation of pattern blocks serves as an open-ended educational instrument particularly suited for elementary classrooms and other educational settings employing iPads.  <li>Duplicate shapes, altering their color and size.</li>

 <li>Conceal and reveal work using resizable covers to frame problems and model strategies.</li>
 <li>Annotate work and demonstrate understanding with the drawing tools.</li>

 <li>Share work by saving images or offering others a share code.</li>
