Pattern Shapes, by MLC 3.1

Students utilize Pattern Shapes to delve into geometry and fractions, engaging in the creation of their own designs or the completion of provided outlines. Through interaction with these shapes, students investigate geometric relationships, ponder angles, explore symmetry, and assemble/disassemble larger shapes. Many of these exploratory activities naturally prompt considerations of fractions as integral parts of a whole.
